Authentic Nature
Atmospheric birch forest 4, Finnland
A closer look at the work
Bright sunlight appears between white birch trunks, washing out a small area of foliage. Golden and green tones gather around it. Nearby bark retains its dark markings, while distant trunks become fine stripes. Light and shadow connect the trees across the ground.
Strong light both guides and limits vision. It organises the surroundings while withholding detail at its centre. More illumination does not mean more visibility everywhere: the image places precise looking beside the effect of an almost white glow.
