Time Flies
Blick auf st. nikolai, Deutschland
2013
A closer look at the work
A large turquoise dome stands clearly above, answered by a smaller pointed structure edged in golden light on the left. Broad pale and coloured traces cross below, gathering red, green and yellow near the bottom. Fixed architecture remains partly visible through this translucent layer.
Urban duration meets an event that resists a single contour. The dome anchors distance; coloured bands occupy proximity. Both coexist with unequal legibility. Movement becomes a visual threshold before architecture, presenting a place within changing public activity rather than as an isolated monument.
