Reflections of India
Color Bomb, Indien
2014
A closer look at the work
A dense crowd surrounds a large yellow orange cloud. Arms and heads remain visible around its edges while the bright centre obscures detail. Red gathers below and at the sides. The elevated viewpoint joins individual gestures into one field.
Colour occupies space between people rather than merely clothing them. It connects bodies while partly concealing them. Proximity and overlap convey the density of a shared situation without defining the individual experiences within it.
