Golden Nights - Nothing Else
2020
A closer look at the work
A tall column topped by a golden figure stands against night sky. White and yellow light trails cross before it, with smaller lamps near the ground. Upright architecture remains legible through the horizontal movement.
An enduring public marker encounters passing traces. The column holds its axis while light crosses the view. Monument and traffic belong to the same city, and the photograph brings their different visual orders together.
