A closer look at the work
A pale curved roof rises against deep blue sky. A dark rounded sculpture stands before it beside still water. Both are almost fully reflected, forming new shapes with their mirrored counterparts. Trees frame the sides.
Reflection actively shapes the composition. The roof becomes more enclosed through doubling; the sculpture gains another spatial possibility. The waterline preserves the distinction between objects and reflections, showing how a building's appearance depends on the surface before it.
