Artwork and cultural context
A passage of light and stone
The empty passage at Keshi Ghat is shaped by warm light and openings along its side. Repeated pillars and arches create depth. As an architectural photograph, it examines a supporting space identified in the title as a changing facility.
Keshi Ghat is among the places on the Vrindavan parikrama route. The pilgrimage setting therefore also has an infrastructure beyond its prominent views. This empty corridor makes that often overlooked aspect its subject.
