A closer look at the work
A small garden shed stands behind a fence, plants and a narrow path. Immediately above it, a tall building rises through a regular grid of windows. A red flag cuts sharply against the grey sky. The vertical frame compresses garden and tower, bringing different scales together without a clear spatial separation.
Door, roof and garden boundary give the shed a bodily scale; the building behind it is grasped through repetition. Two ideas of usable space meet: a bounded place of particular details and a vertically multiplied order. Plants mediate between them without concealing the jump in scale. The view attends to their coexistence without prescribing how it should be judged.
