A closer look at the work
Several roadway levels stack tightly, cutting the vertical frame into broad horizontal zones. Supports, pipes and dark beams fill the near space. A rectangular opening below reveals distant towers. Lit distance seems light beside the weight of construction.
The small outlook gains force from the mass concealing it. Depth survives as an interval between functional bodies. Vertical framing stresses that cities are organised above one another as well as alongside. Looking from below through structures carrying movement elsewhere makes ordinary transport infrastructure a distinct, complex architecture.
