A closer look at the work
A tight horizontal crop follows a reclining back and hip. Skin glows warm orange on the left and turns dark blue on the right. The head lies outside the clearly readable zone; an arm remains faint above. A straight colour boundary crosses the continuous bodily form.
The reduced view concentrates on surface and transition. Curvature remains intelligible even as colour divides the body unequally. Warmth and coolness become visual relations rather than claims about sensation. Darkness removes narrative detail and strengthens proximity as form. Light maintains a contour that colour simultaneously interrupts.
