Reflections of India
Pilgrim on Purple Dust 12, Indien
2014
A closer look at the work
A man in pale clothing and a smaller person in a darker blue shirt walk together over pink ground. Coloured garments appear behind. Clear shadows repeat their different sizes. The foreground pair remains complete while surrounding figures are cropped.
Similar direction joins unequal scale, but their steps do not match exactly. Small differences preserve individual presence. The photograph shows visible proximity without defining the relationship between the two people.
