A closer look at the work
Two women cross a lit strip before dark trees. Turquoise over red and green contrasts with a broad brown wrap over blue. Light shapes the folds and reveals feet. A small interval remains between them.
Fabric expands the bodies into differently sized silhouettes. Shared direction and light retain separate rhythms, creating a double image of movement. Their spatial relationship is visible without needing a biographical explanation.
