Water
Skyline Osaka 2
2016
A closer look at the work
A long bridge forms a low arc across the lower half. Deep blue sky expands above; dark water carries white, red and yellow reflections below. Brighter technical structures cluster on the left. Delicate articulation makes the bridge legible yet slender beside broad colour fields.
Sky alters structural scale. A building crossing great distances becomes a fine connection within the image. Function is imaginable without visible traffic. Water continues that connection only fragmentarily through separate light traces. Fixed crossing and loose optical repetition coexist within one quiet shoreline.
