A closer look at the work

A large stone stands in open landscape with its upper portion bent forward. A pale hollow and darker exterior give it an almost bodily contour. Smaller rocks lie behind; grass clumps and a green strip lead from the foreground. Light and dark clouds cross above.

Story of Wind names a possible history of form without fully demonstrating it. What is visible is a surface of curves, rough areas and colour differences. The viewpoint suggests an upright figure. Looking can recognise that resemblance while remaining attentive to material: meaning emerges between the existing body and the forms the eye discovers within it.

Personal consultation

The work, the space, the presentation.

What interests you about this work? I take time for your questions, its origins and its place in a collection. Together, we explore differences between works and their relationship with space, light and architecture.

Size, selected materials and bespoke framing are carefully coordinated. The precise presentation develops through our conversation.

A photograph of the intended space can help us consider scale and placement.
