A large orange-pink light circle stands above a narrow dark sea horizon. Brightness radiates from its centre within a fine pale rim. A small golden reflection answers below. Nearly black-blue sky gives the circle pictorial dominance.
Water reflection connects the immense-looking appearance to landscape, yet scale remains unusual. Sky becomes almost a surface for the circle, sea a slender material anchor. Looking alternates between optical form and depth. Light both orients and unsettles familiar measures, while the horizon keeps appearance tied to a place.
