A closer look at the work
Broad white crossing stripes run diagonally before a brightly lit junction. A crowd forms dense brown-red shimmer behind them. Large signs and façades remain sharper; signals, wires and lamps fill intervals. Ordered ground leads into movement without distinct positions.
Different legibilities coexist. Markings and advertisements retain shape while people become overlapping presences. This changes pictorial weight without judging their significance. Fixed signs structure looking, transient bodies intensify experience. Public space remains more than a readable surface because its activities survive as movement.
