The resonance of renowned institutions and juries is more than just recognition for my artistic research – it creates freedom in which long-term projects can develop beyond economic constraints. Funding enables field work in remote landscapes, scholarships grant time for theoretical deepening, awards connect my work with an international discourse on photography, perception and mediality.
