A closer look at the work
A strong white foam edge runs diagonally upward from left to right. Behind it, a dark blue swell carries only sparse pale lines across a smoother surface. A finer white-turquoise network spreads in front. The wave has a readable front and a receding, less accessible depth.
Water becomes sculptural despite impermanent boundaries. The diagonal suggests movement continuing beyond the frame. Dark swelling mass alternates with delicate foam drawing. Both can be read but cannot settle into one fixed object: the form exists through transition itself.
