Short biography

André Wagner, born in 1980 in Burgstädt, has been working as a freelance photographer since 2002. His work focuses on infrared photography, long-term exposure and the effect of light and color on our perception.

His series of works have been produced over many years on journeys, in landscapes, in spiritually influenced places and in urban spaces. In addition to strictly limited photographic editions, Wagner realizes large-scale art-in-construction projects and deals with digital forms of authentication and provenance.

His works have been presented in museums, galleries and international exhibitions and are in public and private collections. Wagner is a member of the German Society for Photography DGPh.
